Volunteer Opportunity: Community Speedwatch Co-ordinator

Are you passionate about keeping local roads safer and helping protect our community? The Faulkland Group is looking for a volunteer Community Speedwatch Co-ordinator to help organise and support local Speedwatch activity across the area.

Community Speedwatch is a positive, community-led initiative that helps raise awareness of speeding concerns and encourages safer driving through visible, locally organised volunteer activity.

About the role

As Co-ordinator, you will be the main point of contact for the Faulkland Group’s Community Speedwatch volunteers. You will help arrange sessions, keep volunteers informed, liaise with relevant local contacts, and support the smooth running of the scheme.

What you’ll help with

  • Organising Community Speedwatch sessions with local volunteers.
  • Acting as a point of contact for the group.
  • Helping welcome and support new volunteers.
  • Keeping basic records and sharing updates when needed.
  • Promoting safe, responsible driving in and around Faulkland.

Who we’re looking for

You do not need previous experience—just good communication skills, a little time to spare, and a commitment to helping make our roads safer. Full guidance and support will be provided.
